This policy explains what information Elite Gloss collects, how we use it, who we share it with — including our payment partner Stripe — and what your rights are. We keep it direct because that's how we operate.

Elite Gloss Mobile Detailing ("Elite Gloss," "we," "us," or "our") is a mobile vehicle detailing business operating in Flagler County, Florida. Our website is driveelite.net. Our phone number is 386-346-0849.

This Privacy Policy describes how Elite Gloss collects, uses, stores, and shares information from customers, website visitors, and prospective clients. By using our services or website, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

Elite Gloss does not sell, rent, lease, or trade your personal information to any third party for marketing or commercial purposes. Your data is used only to provide, improve, and administer our services.

02 What Information We Collect

We collect the minimum information necessary to provide our services. The following table outlines the categories of data we may collect:

Elite Gloss does not collect or store full payment card numbers, CVV codes, or bank account numbers. All payment card data is handled exclusively by Stripe. See Section 05 for full details.

03 How We Collect Information

We collect information through the following channels:

  • Phone and text: When you call or text to book a service, we collect the information you provide — name, number, location, and vehicle details.
  • Website forms: Booking requests, membership signups, and contact forms on driveelite.net collect the fields you submit.
  • At time of service: Technicians collect vehicle condition notes and photographs on-site before beginning work.
  • Payment processing: When you pay through Stripe-powered invoices or payment links, Stripe collects payment data on our behalf. We receive a transaction confirmation and record — not your raw card data.
  • Automatically: Our website hosting provider may collect standard server logs including IP addresses and browser information when you visit driveelite.net.
04 How We Use Your Information

Information we collect is used only for the following purposes:

  • Scheduling, confirming, and delivering detailing services at your location
  • Generating invoices, processing payments, and maintaining billing records
  • Managing Gloss Club memberships and enterprise fleet accounts
  • Documenting pre-existing vehicle conditions to protect both parties
  • Sending service confirmations, reminders, and follow-ups via phone or text
  • Verifying discount eligibility (military, first responder) — verification data is not retained beyond confirmation
  • Improving our services based on service history and feedback
  • Complying with applicable legal requirements and resolving disputes

We do not use your information for automated profiling, targeted advertising, or any purpose not listed above without your explicit consent.

05 Stripe — Payment Processing Partner

Elite Gloss uses Stripe, Inc. as our exclusive payment processing partner. All credit card transactions, debit card payments, and invoice billing processed through our website or payment links are handled directly by Stripe's secure infrastructure.

Stripe is a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment processor — the highest level of certification available. Your full card number, CVV, and banking credentials are entered directly into Stripe's encrypted environment and are never transmitted to or stored by Elite Gloss.

When you make a payment to Elite Gloss through Stripe, the following applies:

  • Stripe collects and stores your payment card data, billing name, and billing address in accordance with their Privacy Policy.
  • Elite Gloss receives a transaction confirmation, a tokenized reference, and invoice metadata — not your raw card details.
  • Stripe may collect device fingerprinting and fraud-detection signals as part of their payment security infrastructure. This is standard practice for all Stripe-processed transactions.
  • For Gloss Club recurring memberships and enterprise accounts on monthly billing, Stripe stores a secure payment token to enable automated billing. Elite Gloss does not have access to your stored card details — only Stripe does.
  • Stripe's services are governed by their own Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, available at stripe.com. By paying through our Stripe-powered invoices or checkout, you also agree to Stripe's terms.

To request deletion of your payment data stored by Stripe, contact Stripe directly at stripe.com/privacy or through your card-issuing bank. Elite Gloss cannot delete payment data held by Stripe on your behalf — that data is under Stripe's control, not ours.

Stripe may use your transaction data for fraud prevention, regulatory compliance, and their own product improvement. For full details on how Stripe handles your data, visit: stripe.com/privacy

06 Third-Party Sharing

Elite Gloss does not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following limited circumstances:

  • Stripe (payment processing): As described in Section 05. Required to process payments. See stripe.com/privacy.
  • Website hosting & infrastructure: Our website host may have access to server log data (IP addresses, page views) as part of standard hosting operations. This data is not linked to your identity.
  • Legal compliance: We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of Elite Gloss, our staff, or others.
  • Business transfer: In the event Elite Gloss is acquired, merged, or sold, customer records may be transferred as part of that transaction. You will be notified if this occurs.

We do not share your information with advertising networks, data brokers, social media platforms, or any third party for marketing purposes.

07 Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as necessary to provide services, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes. Specific retention periods are as follows:

  • Service records and photos: Retained for a minimum of 12 months from the date of service. Used for quality assurance and damage documentation. Deleted upon written request unless required for an open dispute.
  • Contact information: Retained while you are an active customer or member. Inactive accounts (no service or contact in 24+ months) are purged unless you have an open billing balance.
  • Billing and transaction records: Retained for a minimum of 7 years in compliance with IRS record-keeping guidelines for business income.
  • Discount verification data: Verified status is noted in your account record. Supporting documents (photos of IDs) are not retained after verification.
  • Membership records: Retained for 24 months after membership cancellation for dispute resolution and re-enrollment purposes.
08 Your Rights & Choices

You have the following rights regarding your personal information held by Elite Gloss:

  • Access: You may request a summary of what information we hold about you. We will respond within 10 business days.
  • Correction: If your contact information, vehicle details, or account data is incorrect, contact us and we will update it promptly.
  • Deletion: You may request deletion of your personal data. We will honor deletion requests except where retention is required by law (e.g., tax records), by an open dispute, or by an active contract.
  • Opt-out of marketing: We do not run email marketing campaigns, but if you receive any promotional texts from us, reply STOP at any time to opt out. We will honor opt-outs immediately.
  • Photo opt-out: You may request that your vehicle not be used in any Elite Gloss marketing or social media content. See Section 09.
  • Portability: You may request a copy of your service records and account data in a readable format.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at 386-346-0849 or in writing. We do not require you to create an account or pay a fee to make a privacy request.

09 Photography & Media

Elite Gloss photographs vehicles before and after every service. These photos serve two purposes: damage documentation (shared with the customer) and potential use in our marketing materials.

  • Before-and-after photos may be used on Instagram, Facebook, our website, or in other promotional contexts.
  • We redact or avoid capturing license plates, home addresses, and personal items visible in or around the vehicle in any photos published publicly.
  • If you do not want your vehicle used in any public marketing content, notify us at time of booking or before your appointment begins. We will flag your account and ensure no photos from your service are used publicly — now or in the future.
  • Damage documentation photos are shared with you via text or email and are retained internally per the schedule in Section 07. These are never published publicly.
10 Website & Cookies

The driveelite.net website may use cookies and similar tracking technologies for basic functionality and analytics.

  • Essential cookies: Required for the website to function — page navigation, form submissions, session management. Cannot be disabled without breaking core site functions.
  • Analytics: We may use basic analytics (such as page view counts) to understand which pages are most visited. This data is aggregated and not linked to your personal identity.
  • Stripe.js: When a Stripe payment link or checkout is loaded on our site, Stripe may set cookies or collect device signals as part of their fraud prevention infrastructure. This is governed by Stripe's cookie policy at stripe.com/cookie-settings.
  • We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party retargeting tools.

Most browsers allow you to manage or disable cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect some website functionality.

11 Children's Privacy

Elite Gloss services are intended for adults and business clients. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 13. Our website is not directed at children.

If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a minor, contact us at 386-346-0849 and we will delete it promptly.

12 Security

We take reasonable precautions to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. Security measures include:

  • Payment card data is never stored by Elite Gloss — all card handling is delegated to Stripe's PCI-DSS Level 1 certified environment.
  • Customer records and service documentation are stored in access-controlled systems accessible only to Elite Gloss personnel.
  • Physical documents containing customer information are stored securely and destroyed when no longer needed.
  • Our website uses HTTPS encryption for all data transmitted between your browser and our server.

No data transmission or storage system is completely secure. While we implement strong safeguards, Elite Gloss cannot guarantee absolute security of your information. In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify affected customers promptly and in accordance with applicable Florida law.

13 Changes to This Policy

Elite Gloss may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or applicable law.

  • Updated policies are posted to driveelite.net/privacy with a revised effective date.
  • For material changes affecting how we handle your data, active customers and Gloss Club members will be notified by text or the contact method on file, with at least 14 days notice before the change takes effect.
  • Continued use of Elite Gloss services after a policy update constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
  • The current version of this policy is always available at driveelite.net/privacy.
